Founded in 1965 with the clear purpose of delivering fine dinnerware porcelain both for domestic and hotel purposes, SPAL has maintained a strong and consistent vision towards the relevance of design. The company boasts the facilities to provide a fully integrated solution to its business partners in more than 45 countries worldwide. Starting with the selection and preparation of the finest raw materials, SPAL further offers modern industrial facilities, including a molding department and a decal unit, prepared to deliver nearly 18 million pieces per year. The in-house design studio, as well as a long background of working with well know international designers, reinforces its eclectic and diverse portfolio of creations.
Its methodology, working in close partnership with the client, has been recognized by some of the world’s most prestigious labels with whom SPAL has been working for several decades – both home and hotel segments. Over these 52 years SPAL is also very proud of placing to market many well-succeed collections showing a strong commercial appeal recognized worldwide.

Essential Home gets its inspiration from anywhere really. It can be on the sleek lines of a futuristic chair, retro ads that defined a generation, classic and iconic movie stars and heartbreakers from the 60’s, you name it. Our products are a true combination of colours, matter and design.
